One Page at a Timeš»
Thereās something about a blank page that can feel a little exciting⦠and a little scary.
You know thereās a story coming, but you donāt know exactly how it will unfold yet.
Thatās a little bit of where weāve been.
Itās been a season of transition for our familyāa season of finishing chapters, closing the covers on some old seasons, and stepping into new ones with unwritten pages and fresh ink.
And if youāve wondered where weāve been lately⦠well, weāve been busy. š
Weāve been working, dreaming, planning, praying, and spending a whole lot of time at the farm.
As weāve started working the ground and bringing pieces of this beautiful place back to life, something has happened that we didnāt quite expectā¦
Our appreciation for this assignment has grown deeper.
What started as a dream has slowly become something we can see, touch, work for, and pray over.
And now, as we look toward our first opening season in fall 2027, the countdown feels a little more real.
There is SO much still to do. (Seriously⦠so much. š)
But there is also so much to look forward to.
Weāre excited about the fields.
The Flowers.
The little moments that will happen here.
The people weāll meet.
The stories that will be created.
And all the things we havenāt even thought of yet.
We donāt know exactly how every piece of this story will come together, but weāre learning to be okay with that.
Because God is the Author.
And if weāre being honest, there have been plenty of times when weāve tried to pick up the pen ourselves. Weāve tried to figure out the next chapter, write the ending, and get ahead of the story.
But weāre learning that we donāt want to write our own story.
We want to live the one Heās writing.
So for now, weāre taking it one page at a time.
One field.
One project.
One little step forward.
And weāre trusting that the same God who paved the way here will continue to lead us where He wants us to go.
The journey hasnāt always been easy, but it has been rich. Rich in growth, rich in lessons, and rich in reminders that sometimes the most beautiful chapters begin before we can see how the story will end.
So if youāve been wondering whatās happening at Sun Haven Farmā¦
Weāre here.
Weāre dreaming.
Weāre working.
Weāre getting our hands dirty.
And weāre getting more excited by the day about whatās ahead.
Fall 2027 may still feel like a long way off, but we have a feeling these pages are going to fill up quickly.
Thank you for being here for the story.
We canāt wait to share the next chapter with you.š
With grateful hearts,
Johnny, Sarah, Anyah, Aubrey, and Axel
